Southern Comfort - Beach

One of those commercial classics. And it came out of nowhere. Suddenly we were filming under the hottest July sun in Barcelona and it felt like that commercial didn't have any story or purpose, meaning or even tone. And suddenly we saw it edited and with that music and it is difficult not to fall in love with it. Sometimes filmmaking brings suprises even for the ones doing it.

Now everbody knows this commercial and I am really happy with it. We even went quite bold and played it with the hard front sun in his face, an unusal aesthetic decision but one that made a lot of tonal sense in here. 

Thinking about the shoot always draws me a smile.
